By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1)-
The World Film Festival Montreal 2016 is well taken off and the Cinema Imperial is full again as in the heyday. The films are varied and excellent from love stories like the Chinese film “LOOKING FOR THE HOLY LAND” to gun dealers stories at the time of the Samurai of Japan. This film “TATARA SAMURAI” highlights a principle to be applied more than ever in our time: “Never get out his gun (samurai) if it is possible to set the war by the word …” And what about this great movie from Russia about a young journalist “THE END OF A BEAUTIFUL ERA! Anyway, WFF 2016 is in full competition and the fans are there.
We must commend the excellent work of volunteers who will have, ultimately, saved the 2016 edition.
